Job Description
The following description outlines the role of a Machine Learning Engineer on the AWS ProServe Delivery Team, onsite in Arlington, VA, focused on designing, implementing, and scaling AI/ML and generative AI solutions for customers.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and scale secure AI/ML solutions on AWS tailored to customer needs, selecting and fine-tuning models for specific use cases
- Develop and deploy machine learning models and generative AI applications that address real-world business problems, run experiments, and optimize performance at scale
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to identify high-value AI/ML use cases, gather requirements, and propose effective implementation strategies
- Provide technical guidance on applying AI, machine learning, and generative AI responsibly and cost-effectively, troubleshoot throughout project delivery, and ensure adherence to best practices
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on the latest AI/ML advancements, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches to leveraging diverse data sources for business impact
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, creating reusable AI/ML artifacts, and prototyping new technologies with team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- 3+ years of experience with machine learning, statistical modeling, data analysis tools, and techniques
- Experience in professional software engineering and the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, architectures, code reviews, source control, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
- Current TS/SCI security clearance
