Job Description

PwC is seeking an experienced data engineer for managed services in Grand Rapids, MI (onsite), with a salary range of USD 63,000 to 140,000 per year.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data powered solutions to optimize business performance and strengthen competitive position, covering data engineering and ETL.
  • Apply advanced analytics methods to generate strategic insights and support evidence-based client decisions, including SQL optimization.
  • Build and sustain data pipelines to enable efficient data collection and analysis using DataStage.
  • Leverage BI tools such as Oracle Business Intelligence and QlikView to produce reports and dashboards, integrating sources from DB2 and SQL Server.
  • Collaborate with teammates to collect and analyze data from diverse sources, identifying patterns and trends through star schemas and dimensional modeling.
  • Apply data architecture skills to design and maintain robust database management systems, including Snowflake data models.
  • Pursue continuous process improvement to raise data quality and data integrity.
  • Support client engagement by listening to diverse perspectives and addressing needs in regulated environments.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and market development strategies through data interpretation.
  • Adapt to a fast paced environment, take ownership of tasks, and deliver high quality work, with experience in job scheduling and UNIX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
