Mechanical Engineer

Work in Lexington, KY (onsite) on a long term contract-to-hire Mechanical Engineer role with competitive pay of $45.00 to $65.00 per hour. You will contribute to real hardware modifications and integrations, translating customer requirements into component and system designs while meeting established military and industry standards. A Secret clearance is required for this position.

This contract role supports modifying and integrating existing hardware into platforms according to customer specifications, using CATIA V5 to produce designs that align with technical documentation such as interface control documents.

Responsibilities

• Modify existing hardware and integrate modified components into various platforms based on customer specifications
• Develop component and system designs based on customer requirements and interface control documents
• Ensure designs comply with applicable military specifications, SAE, ANSI, ASME, and other related design and drafting standards

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience in a similar field
• 5 years of Catia V5 experience
• Secret clearance
