Job Description

NOREAS, Inc. offers a full-time environmental services career based in the Seattle, WA area (onsite), with competitive pay and a strong focus on performance. This role supports environmental investigation and remediation work, including groundwater monitoring and remediation system activities across project stages.

Compensation is $100,000 to $140,000 per year depending on experience, with performance incentive bonuses and benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, Paid Time Off, and a 401(k) Plan with company match.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a project manager or task manager for groundwater monitoring, remediation system design, implementation, and operation and maintenance, as well as other environmental and construction projects.
  • Supervise complex field projects and coordinate technical execution in the field.
  • Apply strong writing and analytical skills to develop work plans and reports, including investigation, remediation design, and feasibility studies.
  • Support proposals and cost estimates.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
  • BS in Geology or Civil or Environmental Engineering from an accredited university.
  • MS degree is a plus.
  • Washington State Licensed Geologist or Professional Engineer preferred, or actively pursuing licensure.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in environmental investigation and remediation.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat (or similar).
  • Experience with GIS and/or CAD is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to support field and outdoor work, including occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel and field work of approximately 25 to 50%, which may include trips throughout the U.S.
  • Commitment to supporting a safe work environment.
  • Federal contracts experience is preferred, specifically NAVFAC SW, NAVFAC NW, and USACE.

Role Details

This full-time position is based in the Seattle, Washington region and requires in-person work with some travel.
