Palantir Data Engineer

Booz Allen Hamilton invites you to join the Defense Technology team as a Palantir Data Engineer. This role centers on Palantir Foundry AIP to enable defense analytics and data engineering, delivering actionable results for clients in support of military missions.

You will collaborate on complex data exploration and analytics projects, apply innovative methodologies, and lead end to end efforts that help our clients make sense of their data and drive mission outcomes.

Compensation

Salary: USD 77,600 - 176,000 per year

Experience and Education

• Experience: 3+ years with Palantir Foundry AIP for application development
• Education: Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

• Support complex data exploration and analytics projects for defense clients using Palantir
• Introduce innovative methodologies to make a real world impact on protecting our military
• Apply expertise in data engineering, data science modeling, and technology integration to shape analytics solutions that drive the mission forward
• Lead a team delivering critical missions from end to end
• Guide clients and stakeholders in interpreting data to foster actionable results

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry AIP for application development
• Experience with Python or TypeScript
• Experience with Data Connections and Code Repos or Pipeline Builder for data ingestion and transformation
• Experience with Foundry application and workflow development in Workshop and Ontology Manager
• Experience working with Agile software teams, conducting code reviews, and implementing DevSecOps practices
• Experience with Git repositories, CI/CD workflows, or infrastructure automation
• Ability to engage with stakeholders, define requirements, and translate them into technical solutions
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree
