Product & Process Development Engineer

The Product & Process Development Engineer role supports the transition of product concepts into production-ready systems for high volume, low mix manufacturing. This position focuses on reliability testing, manufacturing readiness, and data-driven improvement through DOEs and DFM analysis in partnership with cross-functional engineering teams.

Location and Work Arrangement

Cupertino, CA (hybrid)

• Work location: Hybrid remote in Cupertino, CA 95014
• Ability to commute: Cupertino, CA 95014 (preferred)

Role Summary

In this role, you will help bring products from conceptual designs into high volume/low mix mass production. The work includes participation in engineering production cycles, supporting reliability testing and manufacturing efforts, and conducting Design of Experiments (DOEs) and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) analysis to improve manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities

• Move products from early conceptual designs into high volume/low mix mass production
• Participate in numerous engineering production cycles
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams that may include process and tooling engineers, quality control engineers, and project managers
• Support the reliability testing and manufacturing aspects of product development
• Conduct Design of Experiments (DOEs)
• Analyze and propose Design for Manufacturing (DFM) concepts
• Communicate design and manufacturing concepts clearly to other engineers and factory specialists

Required Education and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
• Language: Mandarin (required)

Travel Requirement

• Ability to travel for work between 35% - 40% of the year

Compensation

• Salary: USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year
