Job Summary
KBR is seeking a mid-level Reliability Engineer to operate in a demanding weapons system development and production environment. The selected individual will join a team supporting the Search, Track Acquire, Radiate, Eliminate (STARE) Project Office, which manages a portfolio of Army radar systems. Within the Product Assurance Directorate, the engineer will help ensure that only reliable, high-quality products meeting specifications are delivered to soldiers.
Responsibilities
- Ground Support Equipment RAM requirements development and assessment
- Fault Detection/Fault Isolation/Prognostics requirement development and post test analysis
- Reliability and Maintainability test development
- Failure Definition / Scoring Criteria development
- Reliability scoring of Test Incident Reports
- Field data collection design and field data assessment for reliability
- Engineering Change Proposal reviews
- Documentation development supporting milestone decisions
Requirements
- Active SECRET clearance and US Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Minimum eight years of experience in a product development setting
- Reliability assessment/analysis experience to provide independent assessment of defense contractor issues
Preferred Qualifications
- A pilot’s license a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics or a related field
- Experience with software failure analysis
- Experience with US Army reliability programs
