Professional Engineer

Consor Engineers in Henderson, Nevada is seeking a Professional Engineer to help shape the planning and design of drainage systems, including stormwater, water, and sewer networks, along with related roadway drainage. The role centers on hydraulic modeling, developing plans and specifications, coordinating utility relocations, and guiding junior engineers while supervising in-field construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Design and plan storm drainage, water supply, wastewater, and associated roadway drainage systems
• Carry out hydraulic modeling and drainage calculations
• Lead the creation of plans and project specifications
• Identify work elements, quantities, and cost estimates
• Investigate codes, permitting procedures, and environmental requirements
• Identify and coordinate utility conflicts and relocations
• Collaborate with engineers across disciplines
• Mentor junior engineers
• Oversee construction activities

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year experience on sewer and storm drain assessment projects
• Field data collection
• Data entry
• Report writing
• Inspection and assessment of CCTV footage for sewer and storm drain assets in accordance with NASSCO PACP and MACP standards
• Building, configuring, and deploying field applications using ArcGIS Field Maps, ArcGIS Survey123, and ArcGIS QuickCapture
• Developing dashboards and web applications using ArcGIS Experience Builder for reporting and operations
• Coordinating, maintaining, and organizing data assets using Microsoft Access, PipeLogix Phoenix, and ArcGIS Pro
• Automating data transfer using ArcGIS Notebooks with Python

Education

Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, or a closely related field
