Job Description

TAKRAF USA Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the engineering and design execution of bulk material handling equipment from Denver, CO. In this onsite role, you will coordinate closely with clients and vendors while managing project staffing, schedules, budgets, and design compliance.

Role Overview

You will direct a team of structural and mechanical engineers and designers to develop, design, and deliver solutions. The position combines technical oversight with active project management responsibilities, including milestone status reporting, vendor coordination, and preparation of technical specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead structural and mechanical engineers and designers to develop an innovative, high quality solution.
  • Determine project staffing requirements and coordinate staffing with supporting organization managers.
  • Oversee project personnel and align them to specific phases or aspects of the project.
  • Assist with creating and maintaining schedules and budgets for the assigned engineering project.
  • Provide milestone status reports and adjust schedules based on progress and needs.
  • Review expenditures to ensure alignment within the limits of the project budget.
  • Review product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.
  • Interface with customers by providing project status reports and ensuring customer needs are addressed.
  • Coordinate with vendors and other disciplines to maintain design consistency.
  • Prepare technical specifications.
  • Mentor junior engineers in the business, business practices, and position requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering (four-year college or university) and 5+ years related experience.
  • 5 years minimum experience in the Bulk Material Handling Industry.
  • AutoCad for 2D & 3D drawing is required.
  • Other 3D design software such as Inventor, Solidworks, or Advance Steel is desired but not essential.
  • Project management experience: 1 year preferred.
  • Denver, CO required.
  • Ability to relocate before starting work is required.
  • Work location: in person.
