Project Engineer

Join Myers and Sons Construction in Sacramento, CA as a Project Engineer supporting critical work on the Caldecott Tunnel Life Fire Safety Upgrades CMGC Project. This on-site role focuses on MEP delivery in a Treatment Plant or Heavy Civil environment, with close partnership alongside the project superintendent. What you’ll do

• Work on site to help address construction issues as they arise.
• Manage project documentation in Viewpoint’s Vista.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the contract requirements with the Owner.
• Monitor and report project progress.
• Support field activities including construction layout, developing grades, and preparing work plans for self-performed work.
• Review and approve project invoices.
• Handle document control tasks such as submittals, RFI’s, and Change Orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Construction Management, or Engineering (preferred).
• +1 years of experience in Treatment Plants, Heavy Civil, or Highway projects in California.
• Experience working with subcontracts, subcontractors, and self-perform work.
• Excellent organizational, team management, problem solving, and motivational skills.
