Senior Project Engineer role leading water and wastewater engineering delivery from concept through project completion.

Direct planning, design, and production for lift station, pipeline, and/or Water/Wastewater treatment systems, overseeing assigned work and supporting Project Managers with clear scopes aligned to goals, timelines, and budget
Lead the design group during the conceptual phase, using client standards and templates
Create an action plan and develop estimate requirements for resources, labor, materials, and project time
Develop project deliverables, including plans, design reports, and technical specifications
Supervise junior engineers by evaluating shop drawings and oversee construction administration responsibilities as the Engineer of Record
Monitor development progress and compare actual costs to estimates
Prepare monthly reports covering progress and costs for next level management
Collaborate with Project Managers to develop scope and manhour estimates across projects
Review existing equipment, facilities, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, increase quality, and reduce costs
Complete periodic travel to support business development, project management, site investigations, and construction observation
Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external clients

8+ years of relevant experience
B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering
P.E. license in the state of Florida
Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with Deltek VantagePoint and Smartsheet or similar platforms
Ability to effectively lead and inspire a team
Comfort working with a multi-disciplinary team
Strong oral, written, and organizational skills
Knowledge of codes and design and construction practices
Detail oriented, quality conscious, reliable, and self-motivated
