Quality Engineering Senior Automation Developer - AVP

A senior level quality engineering automation developer will participate in establishing and implementing new or revised application systems in collaboration with the Technology team.

Responsibilities

• Perform feasibility assessments, estimate timelines and costs, contribute to IT planning and risk analysis, support applications development and model development, and design and deploy new or revised systems to meet defined business needs.
• Oversee all stages of the software lifecycle from analysis through design, build, testing and deployment, while delivering user and operational support to business users.
• Leverage deep development expertise to diagnose complex issues, evaluate business and system processes, and benchmark against industry standards to guide decisions.
• Recommend and implement security measures during post-implementation reviews to ensure robust system functionality.
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology teams, propose advanced programming solutions, and assist in deploying customer-facing systems.
• Ensure adherence to core procedures and help define operating standards and processes.
• Provide mentorship to new or less experienced analysts.
• Operate effectively with limited direct supervision.
• Exercise independent judgment and autonomy in day-to-day tasks.
• Serve as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Assess risk in decisions to protect the organization and its clients by complying with laws, policies and regulations, applying ethical judgment, and transparently escalating control issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven systems analysis and software application programming experience.
• Track record of managing and delivering successful projects.
• Familiarity with consulting and project management methodologies.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing deadlines or requirements.
• Experience with BDD/TDD and Cucumber framework development.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins.
• Hands-on API testing experience with Postman or SOAPUI.
• Understanding of deep learning fundamentals, RAG and large language models.
• Experience developing APIs and integrating models via APIs.

• Salary: USD 107,120 - 160,680 per year
