Role overview
As a Security Engineer focused on cloud security controls, you will design and implement security controls for Azure and AWS workloads. You will work with cloud security posture management (CSPM) tools and Security as Code pipelines to secure cloud deployments and ensure regulatory alignment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate security controls for Azure resources and AWS services
- Assess control effectiveness and promote successful controls to production workloads
- Collaborate within an agile team and actively participate in planning sessions
- Engineer and configure CSPM tooling to analyze cloud workloads for compliance within a CI/CD environment
- Maintain a growth mindset by continuously seeking new and improved ways to tackle security challenges
- Assess, implement, automate, and document security solutions and processes for both Microsoft Azure and AWS
- Analyze workloads to ensure alignment with operational security requirements before production deployment
- Work closely with the Cloud Security Product Owner to refine backlog tickets, priorities, and sizing
- Automate and orchestrate cloud software deployment to integrate enterprise security standards, policies, configurations, and architectures across applications, platforms, and infrastructure
- Assist DevOps teammates with security development and operationalization
- Ensure the security posture of applications moving into Production
Requirements
- 5+ years of industry-relevant experience
- Bachelors degree required

Salary and eligibility
Base salary range is USD 91,000 to 185,900 per year. Salaries may vary by geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible based on company, business, and individual performance.
