The Home Depot seeks a Senior CIAM Engineer to support the THDCustomerIAM platform, ensuring scalable authentication and authorization experiences. The role collaborates with ForgeRock, Ping Identity, and other identity solutions to enable intelligent access, journey orchestration, and low code/no code development.

Role overview

The Senior CIAM Engineer will join the CIAM team to sustain and enhance the online customer identity platform. The position requires strong proficiency in CIAM engineering, with responsibility for authentication and authorization workflows, alongside shaping intelligent access patterns and journey orchestration using leading identity technologies.

Experience

Responsibilities

• Develop automation workflows to support data collection, investigation, and incident response activities.
• Establish threat hunting programs and data analysis capabilities to detect and respond to security events.
• Evaluate and propose new technologies, methodologies, or approaches to identify malicious activity.
• Leverage indicators to scope and proactively respond to emerging threats.
• Design, implement, configure, maintain, and monitor cybersecurity threat defense capabilities and user access management.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with AI/ML based DevSecOps, data analysis, fraud detection, and identity verification.
• Knowledge of Cloud IAM services such as Azure AD and Google Identity.
• Familiarity with zero trust security models and passwordless authentication.

Reporting structure

This position typically reports to a Manager or Senior Manager and has no direct reports.

Physical requirements

Most of the time, the work involves sitting in a comfortable position with occasional movement; lifting light articles may be required rarely.
