Senior Design Engineer - Cabinetry

Senior Design Engineer specializing in cabinetry, onsite in Tempe, AZ, focused on precise drafting, documentation, and driving cabinetry designs that satisfy client specifications and industry standards through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Create residential cabinetry designs using Cabinet Vision software to meet project requirements.
• Develop and interpret precise technical drawings and fabrication documentation for construction or manufacturing use.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure alignment with project specifications.
• Track project progress and maintain documentation using Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Maintain clear and effective communication within the design team.
• Identify design challenges and address them through structured problem solving and analysis.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar cabinetry or furniture design role.
• Proficiency in producing detailed schematics and drafting documentation with Cabinet Vision or 2020 for construction or manufacturing purposes.
• Familiarity with construction workflows, material selection, fabrication techniques, and installation practices for cabinetry systems.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
