Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer position in Dallas, TX onsite, focused on electrical design, construction support, mentoring, and standards development.
Responsibilities
- Review design requirements, specifications, and performance requirements to select appropriate electrical approaches that satisfy customer expectations, code requirements, and life and safety considerations
- Coordinate electrical design activities with other disciplines and the Project Manager
- Execute and oversee project electrical designs from concept through documentation
- Support the Construction Phase, including submittal review and RFI response
- Mentor and develop engineering staff
- Maintain and develop electrical standards in collaboration with senior engineering staff
- Assist the Director of Electrical Engineering with electrical work product quality control
- Serve as a senior electrical engineering and design resource by providing assistance and guidance to project engineers and designers
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of focused electrical design experience
- Electrical engineering experience across all aspects of design and documentation for multi-family housing, commercial, and civic/government projects
- Professional Engineering (PE) License
- Revit proficiency
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the general public
