Senior Software Engineer

System One is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for a remote (offsite) role based in Seaford, DE. In this position, you will help build and maintain software applications that meet performance and quality expectations while working closely with cross-functional partners.

You will also play an active role in team execution, from feature definition and delivery to debugging and ongoing improvements. As part of the engineering team, you will contribute to code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to code reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven software development experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Strong proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.

Compensation

USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year.
