Senior Systems Security Engineer (Anti-Tamper/Program Protection) - P3

This onsite Senior Systems Security Engineer role in Tewksbury, MA focuses on anti-tamper and program protection work that connects cybersecurity, software assurance, and supply chain risk management. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation approach, system impacts, and effectiveness
• Support compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
• Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and ongoing issues
• Support development activities for bids and proposals
• Support security development and test efforts by implementing security controls across networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software components
• Integrate cybersecurity development activities into SSE execution

Requirements

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to the start date
• Must be a U.S. citizen, since only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, anti-tamper, cybersecurity, program protection, or embedded security

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD Top Secret clearance with current SSBI within the last 5 years (desired)
• Experience in design, development, and fielding of SSE systems
• Background spanning Software, Firmware, & Microelectronics Engineering, cryptography, and FPGA design
• Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments
• Experience implementing SSE solutions throughout the full lifecycle and supporting business growth of SSE implementation
• Experience delivering solutions that meet robust SSE systems security requirements
• Cyber certifications aligned to DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, or CEH
• Broad understanding of technology with working knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28
• Aircraft/weapons integration experience
• Strategic planning and proposal writing skills
• Demonstrated ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers
• Experience contributing in a team environment to develop creative technical problem solutions

Compensation, Location, and Application Window

• Location: Onsite in Tewksbury, MA, United States
• Salary range: USD 86,800 - 165,200 per year
• U.S.-based role: If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply
