Senior Track Engineer

H&H is seeking a Senior Track Engineer for its Philadelphia, PA office (onsite) to support the Passenger Rail & Transit Group. This role leads track design deliverables and technical work, including alignment geometry and special trackwork design using OpenRail Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of track design documents, including plans, specifications, quantities, and design calculations
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members
• Lead delivery of track design tasks, including horizontal and vertical geometry and modeling in OpenRail Designer
• Lead track horizontal and vertical alignment design, including processing survey data and conducting regression analysis
• Lead the design of special trackwork details to support procurement and installation
• Occasionally perform track inspection and field work as needed
• Assist in adapting OpenRail Designer workspaces to align with client-specific standards

Requirements

• Six to 15 years of relevant experience
• BS in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• PE license (preferred)
• Experience with Special Trackwork Design
• Fluency with OpenRail Designer

BS in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
