Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs, drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for treatment facilities, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks, and other water and wastewater conveyance systems.
• Lead or contribute to engineering and process design efforts in hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment processes.
• Coordinate across multiple internal departments and sub consultants to support multi discipline projects.
• Research and identify applicable resources to support engineering work.
• Lead or assist project teams in completing multiple engagements while maintaining progress.
• Communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with stakeholders.
• Gather data for analyses through phone, written correspondence, and literature review.
• Perform calculations and scenario analyses to inform design decisions.
• Draft engineering reports, opinions, and recommendations as part of project deliverables.
• Maintain organized project files and enforce document control procedures.
• Develop design drawings, technical specifications, material takeoffs, and construction cost estimates for projects.
• Support additional duties assigned by Project Managers or Task Leads to advance project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in water and wastewater engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven time management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Analytical mindset with robust problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.
