Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer (Engineer IV)

Ardurra Group, Inc. invites a Senior Water/Wastewater Engineer to join the onsite team in Charlotte, NC. In this Engineer IV role, you will lead the design, management, and optimization of municipal water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, with a strong emphasis on hydraulic modeling and multidisciplinary project leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of water and wastewater treatment, conveyance, and related infrastructure, including collection and distribution networks.
• Design and obtain permits for water, wastewater, and reclaimed water pipelines, covering gravity and pressure systems.
• Lead process design in feasibility studies and facility master plans.
• Engineer upgrades for wastewater and booster pump stations and associated infrastructure.
• Perform hydraulic modeling and analysis for water distribution, reclaimed water transmission, and wastewater collection/transmission systems.
• Support client service managers and business development efforts as a technical subject matter expert in meetings and project interviews.
• Participate in project pursuits and interviews, developing treatment process innovations, technical approaches, and scope items.
• Develop scope and budget for new project opportunities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to colleagues pursuing water and wastewater treatment and infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field required
• Professional Engineer (PE) required
• Approximately 5+ years of experience in water/wastewater engineering
• Experience in drinking water a plus
