Snowflake Data Engineer

HCLTech is hiring a Snowflake Data Engineer in San Antonio, TX for an onsite role. In this position, you will focus on building and maintaining data solutions on the Snowflake cloud data platform, using SQL to support analytics and downstream data needs.

This Developer role centers on reliable data pipelines, strong data quality practices, and ongoing improvement of performance and scalability for data processing and data warehousing.

What you’ll do

• Develop and implement data solutions using Snowflake and SQL.
• Optimize and tune Snowflake data pipelines to improve performance and scalability.
• Work with data analysts and data scientists to support data analytics projects.
• Ensure data quality and apply data governance best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data processing and data warehousing.
• Stay current with new trends and advancements in Snowflake and SQL technologies.

What you bring

• Knowledge of the Snowflake cloud data platform and SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing data pipelines using Snowflake.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and data analytics platforms.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• SnowPro Core Certification is preferred.

Compensation: USD 62,000 - 83,000 per year
