Software Engineer I

Software Engineer I role in Aguadilla, PR onsite, contributing to aircraft control software on Honeywell’s Propulsion Controls Application Software Team.

Responsibilities

• Gather and translate requirements into software designs
• Develop software architecture and implement solutions through coding
• Perform integration of complex software functions into aircraft control system contexts
• Support certification activities for software functions used in aircraft control systems
• Execute and coordinate test efforts to validate software behavior
• Define features as part of the software delivery lifecycle
• Provide customer support as needed for delivered functionality
• Carry out verification and validation to ensure correct performance
• Demonstrate ability to code in multiple languages
