Senior Software Engineer

Senior Software Engineer role in Florida (onsite) supporting software strategy and program office capabilities across software engineering, software security, and cyber (IA) security.

• Support software development strategy and creation of a Software Development Plan for program office capabilities
• Review, develop, and update program documentation tied to software engineering requirements
• Design, develop, integrate, and field Integrated Functional Capabilities (IFCs) in support of integrated functional capabilities
• Develop and review DoDI 5000.02 artifacts including the documentation and products required by the directive
• Assist USAF Airworthiness execution in accordance with MIL-HDBK-516
• Support AF LCSE and OSS&E processes as prescribed by AFMCI 63-1201
• Support implementation of Air Force Integrity Programs
• Support requirements development, allocation, and verification activities
• Review and evaluate weapon system design, including analyses and verification documentation/reports
• Gather and develop technical and business data to create and, as needed, deliver program briefs
• Support program coordination through meetings, working groups, and technical/business reviews

Requirements

• Minimum 20 years of relevant DoD experience
• ABET-accredited Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Five (5) years in a DoD acquisition program as a sub-system or system lead engineer within a recognized ACAT I (or equivalent) special access program office
• Two (2) years of DoD SAP engineering experience prior to selection for employment under this contract
• Knowledge of software engineering supporting design, development, Test and Evaluation (T&E), implementation, maintenance, and administration of new and/or existing software systems

Employment Details

• Full Time / Salaried / Exempt
• Salary range: USD 111,400 - 160,000 per year
