Job Description

Join Planview in the United States as a Software Engineer I (hybrid) focused on C#/.NET fundamentals, SQL, and practical exposure to cloud and agentic LLM development.

Responsibilities

  • Apply core software development practices including code review and automated testing
  • Work with C#/.NET and SQL-based functionality
  • Use AWS concepts through coursework, projects, or prior experience
  • Gain hands-on experience with agentic LLM development, including agent building and/or agentic coding tools such as Claude Code
  • Collaborate with teammates using Git and standard development workflows
  • Contribute to services that use REST APIs and development pipelines (CI/CD concepts)
  • Participate in on-call rotations and learn production operations practices over time

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional software development experience, or a recent graduate with relevant internship or co-op experience
  • Proficiency in C# (or a comparable object-oriented language such as Java)
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (with AWS preferred) via coursework, personal projects, or prior experience
  • Exposure to working with LLMs in agentic development (examples include building agents or using agentic coding tools such as Claude Code) through work, coursework, or personal projects
  • Familiarity with Git and basic development practices, including code review and automated testing
  • Foundational knowledge of data structures and algorithms
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to join on-call rotations and learn production operations practices

Valued Qualifications (Not Required Day One)

  • Experience calling LLM APIs, prompt design, or writing evals
  • Experience with Python and the .NET Orleans framework
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, plus CI/CD and Docker / containerization concepts
  • Interest in Generative AI and experience using AI-powered coding assistants (including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code) for learning and productivity
