Software Engineer Lead - Data Product Organization (Cloudera Hadoop, Neo4j, Spark/PySpark)

The Software Engineer Lead in PNC's Data Product Organization focuses on building and maintaining a data-centric Treasury Management network on Hadoop and Neo4j, with leadership responsibilities in data engineering and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and scale a complex data-centric Treasury Management payments network built on Hadoop and Neo4j
• Independently manage and interpret complex data requirements
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Architects, and other key technical resources
• Engage with streaming data workflows and Iceberg
• Apply proven expertise with Cloudera Hadoop stack (HDFS, HQL, Hive, Impala, Beeline) and Neo4j
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to lead teams
• Provide lead experience as a Data Engineer

Job Description

• Create and lead the technical design and development of software solutions
• Propose and design software solutions to address complex business needs; prepare technical and procedural documentation
• Facilitate complex problem resolution
• Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues; review coding, testing, and documentation
• Apply modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities

Pay Transparency

• Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $138,000.00
• Salaries may vary by geographic location, market data, and individual skills, experience, and education; this role is incentive eligible based on company, business, and individual performance
