Software Engineer (Secret Clearance)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new Java applications and maintain existing Java applications
• Support software testing and resolution of issues from multiple baselines
• Perform in-depth analysis and provide technical support for systems software products, including complex problem resolution
• Work from system specifications to develop or modify operating systems applications
• Assist with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs
• Interface with other system support groups
• Generate software design artifacts and support design and code reviews

Requirements

• A final secret clearance is required for consideration
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics or related technical field
• Experience with at least one modern language such as C++, C, C#, and/or Java (preferably C++)
• Knowledge or experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
• Experience with a Version Control System (Git)

Location and Schedule

On-site at a designated Lockheed Martin facility in Colorado Springs, CO. Shift: First. Schedule for this position is 4x10 hour days, three days off per week.

Compensation and Contract Details

Annual base salary range: $76,500 - $134,895. The range reflects location considerations and standard factors; final offer depends on location and candidate qualifications. Employment type is Task Order/IDIQ.
