Software QA Engineer

FlightPath3D is recruiting a Software QA Engineer to join onsite in Irvine, CA. Responsibilities

• Develop and run comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts to verify functionality, performance, and reliability of the software.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and OEM partners to capture requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.
• Perform regression, system, and integration testing to uncover issues before release.
• Validate software integrations with OEM partners to ensure compatibility and adherence to industry standards.
• Troubleshoot issues, conduct root cause analysis, and work with the development team to implement effective solutions.
• Document test results, track defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Experience with Panasonic Avionics, Thales, Rave/Safran, Viasat, or other IFE/IFEC systems is a plus.

Requirements

• Minimum two years of Linux experience
• Minimum two years in Software QA
• Two to five years as a Test Engineer or in a similar QA role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Must be able to commute to Irvine, CA 92618 and work onsite

Compensation and perks

Base salary: $70,000 to $90,000 per year. Bonuses and stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
