Job Description

The Sr. Agentic AI Engineer will lead onboarding and day-to-day platform operations for enterprise AI and data engineering workloads built on an AWS-based Databricks environment. This is a hands-on role focused on production execution, governed data access, and reliable AI/ML platform integration in a highly regulated setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead onboarding of users, teams, and data domains onto the enterprise Databricks platform on AWS.
  • Address complex technical challenges across external data source integration, governance, deployment of Databricks-native AI capabilities, and cost attribution.
  • Define technical patterns, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of integration work to make external data and AI features usable at enterprise scale.
  • Perform core engineering activities in a hands-on capacity, applying deep expertise in Databricks, data engineering, and practical AI/ML platform operations.
  • Collaborate across teams to maintain platform reliability, scalability, and governance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, or cloud data roles, including at least 3 years managing Databricks in a production environment.
  • Advanced experience administering Databricks at scale, including Unity Catalog, Delta Lake, cluster management, and job orchestration.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD processes for Databricks deployments using Terraform, Asset Bundles, or GitLab.
  • Strong development capability with Python, SQL, and PySpark for dependable production data pipelines.

  • Salary: USD 76 per hourly
