Senior Data & Analytics Engineer specializing in Microsoft Fabric (COE) for a full-time, on-site role with a Fortune 100 enterprise in Nashville, TN. This position centers on enabling enterprise-wide adoption of Microsoft Fabric and modern analytics practices, partnering with business units to design scalable data architectures, and migrating legacy analytics to Fabric while shaping Lakehouse architectures, semantic models, and governance.
Summary
The Senior Data & Analytics Engineer focuses on driving Fabric adoption across the organization within a centralized COE, ensuring high standards for performance, reliability, and data quality across the analytics landscape. The role emphasizes collaboration with business units and engineering teams to create scalable assets and migrate legacy environments to Fabric, rather than building isolated dashboards.
Responsibilities
- Operate within a centralized BI and Intelligent Automation COE to champion enterprise wide adoption of Microsoft Fabric and contemporary analytics practices.
- Partner with business units and engineering teams to design scalable data architectures, develop reusable assets, and guide the migration of legacy analytics environments to Fabric.
- Contribute to shaping Lakehouse architectures, semantic models, and governance frameworks while ensuring performance, reliability, and data quality across the analytics ecosystem.
Requirements
- Proven experience in data engineering, data modeling, and modern analytics platforms.
- Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouse, Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows Gen2, and notebooks.
- Advanced Power BI skills, covering semantic modeling, DAX, performance tuning, and workspace design.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes, medallion architecture Bronze/Silver/Gold, and SQL-based transformations.
- Experience building scalable data pipelines, reusable data assets, and governed analytics environments.
- Solid troubleshooting capabilities across data pipelines, BI tools, and distributed data systems.
- Proficiency in scripting or automation using Python, PowerShell, or SQL.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience in enterprise COE or platform enablement roles is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with Azure data services, CI/CD practices, and BI platform governance is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Pay
USD 70,000.00 – 110,000.00 per year.
