Sr. Electrical Design Engineer III

Fully onsite Sr. Electrical Design Engineer III role in Redmond, WA, supporting electrical design work to enable fast, reliable broadband connectivity beyond existing networks.

Responsibilities

• Own electrical design activities across the full product lifecycle, including board design, component selection, layout review, board bring-up, system test, and root-cause analysis
• Design and verify electrical functions spanning spacecraft interface needs, including analog sensor signal conditioning and processing
• Develop and validate motor and actuator control, embedded digital electronics, and power regulation and monitoring/control
• Improve board-level electrical designs by reviewing and updating electrical schematics and PCB layouts in collaboration with engineers
• Conduct hands-on laboratory testing, analyze results, and document design decisions, findings, and test outcomes for cross-functional partners
• Coordinate with hardware, software, firmware, mechanical, systems, and integration teams to support design verification, qualification, and issue resolution

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in hardware development across multiple phases of the product lifecycle (consumer electronics, power electronics, robotics, aerospace, automotive, communications, or a combination)
• Open to experience across any combination of power, analog, or mixed-signal domains
• Technical depth in board-level electrical hardware design, including experience with precision analog/sensor electronics, embedded digital systems, high-speed interfaces, motor/actuator control, memory, or power regulation
• Experience with PCB design, board bring-up, and debugging using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes and common electrical test instruments
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB-layout ECAD tools, including familiarity with complex boards featuring high-speed interconnects, high-reliability electronics, power regulation, or motor/actuator-control electronics
