Sr. Software Engineer - Linux Sensor
Job Description
The Senior Software Development Engineer will design and implement the Linux sensor component for CrowdStrike Falcon Host, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable Linux software in a hybrid work setting in Redmond, WA. Salary for this role is USD 140,000 to 215,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Linux software intended for server deployment
- Own features from conceptual design through delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams located across multiple sites
- Respond promptly to customer-reported product issues and troubleshoot accordingly
- Contribute to additional projects as assigned
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality C/C++ code, evidenced by professional experience, academic work, or community contributions
- Experience developing production software on Linux or Unix with a focus on high concurrency, reliability, and attention to low-level characteristics such as memory usage, performance, and adherence to external standards
- Track record of working within a team to ship major features and releases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective work in a distributed team
- Proven experience applying AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, and drive efficiency and business outcomes
