Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer

DataAnnotation invites applications for a Staff Software Engineer - AI Trainer to craft and refine coding challenges used in training AI systems. This contract position supports remote collaboration with flexible project scheduling, based in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Develop and solve a broad set of programming problems that contribute to AI model training.
• Produce clear, well-structured code samples accompanied by thorough explanations.
• Assess AI-generated code for correctness, performance, and readability.
• Deliver feedback that guides the evolution of next generation AI models.

Requirements

• Fluent in English, with native or bilingual proficiency.
• Proficiency in at least one of these languages or frameworks: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Kotlin, or Swift.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• Bachelor's degree (completed or in progress).
• Previous experience as a Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer is preferred.
