Wastewater Engineer

RimePro Inc is seeking a Wastewater Engineer for an onsite role in Willingboro, NJ, offering USD 100,000 - 150,000 per year to lead planning, design, and coordination of water and wastewater infrastructure from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for wastewater treatment facilities, sewer networks, and pumping stations.
• Create technical deliverables such as drawings, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
• Conduct hydraulic modeling, system analysis, and process evaluations for wastewater networks.
• Support planning and design activities for new systems and enhancements to existing infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure accurate and timely project delivery.
• Offer engineering support in the field during construction, including site inspections and coordination.
• Assist with permitting efforts and ensure adherence to environmental and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate with public agencies and utility authorities to enable project execution.
• Perform data analysis and technical studies on water quality, system performance, and capacity.
• Attend project meetings and communicate clearly with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• Five or more years of experience in water and wastewater engineering, design, or modeling.
• Experience delivering municipal or public works infrastructure projects.
• Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and sewer collection networks.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.

Position Overview

The Wastewater Engineer will oversee planning, design, and coordination of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, including treatment facilities, collection networks, and distribution systems. The role serves municipal, county, and public-sector clients to ensure systems are efficient, compliant, and sustainable.

This position collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to develop technical solutions, produce documentation, and support projects from idea stage through construction. It helps enhance and safeguard essential public infrastructure.
