Job Description

Zip Staff Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep, proven Oracle PL/SQL expertise to contribute immediately. This onsite role in Blue Bell, PA centers on building and supporting production-grade Oracle PL/SQL components and the data pipelines that depend on them.

You will design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, and functions, while owning features from technical design through testing, deployment, and ongoing production support.

Role Summary

Design, develop, and support Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures/functions, data pipelines, and related production issues from day one
Focus on advanced, hands-on PL/SQL work with end-to-end feature ownership

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and data pipelines
Own features end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support
Write clean, performant, testable, and maintainable PL/SQL code
Tune queries and database logic for performance and scalability
Perform unit and integration testing and participate in code reviews
Work within Jenkins-based CI/CD processes
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently
Collaborate with engineering leadership and help raise the technical bar on the team

Requirements

Strong, current, hands-on Oracle PL/SQL expertise (core focus of the role)
Ability to be fully productive on day one with advanced PL/SQL development and debugging
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with significant PL/SQL development
Proven experience with query development, performance tuning, stored procedures, and packages
Experience with CI tools, with Jenkins strongly preferred
Understanding of software engineering best practices (unit testing, code reviews, version control)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication

Job Description

The role centers on prototype development, testing, debugging, and documentation for advanced automation and control systems, including motion and control platforms. Responsibilities

Design, assemble, validate, and troubleshoot electrical prototypes used in sophisticated control systems.
Develop and diagnose analog, digital, and power electronics circuits.
