Electrical Engineer

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for a 9+ month contract onsite in Blue Bell, PA. The role centers on prototype development, testing, debugging, and documentation for advanced automation and control systems, including motion and control platforms. This position offers hands-on work across analog, digital, and power electronics within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, assemble, validate, and troubleshoot electrical prototypes used in sophisticated control systems.
• Develop and diagnose analog, digital, and power electronics circuits.
• Engage with analog-to-digital converters, PLCs including custom/homegrown systems, automation controls, and robotics platforms.
• Support motion control implementations that involve servo, stepper, and DC motors.
• Conduct end-to-end troubleshooting and root-cause analysis across integrated hardware platforms.
• Produce and maintain thorough engineering documentation, schematics, test procedures, and technical reports.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, manufacturing, and controls engineers on multidisciplinary teams.
• Help bring cost-efficient, production-ready solutions to fruition.

Requirements

• Strong circuit design experience spanning power, analog, and digital systems.
• Understanding of motor control electronics and motion systems.
• Experience with industrial control systems and prototype development.
• Background working with automation equipment, robotics, semiconductor manufacturing/FAB systems, or custom machinery.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in both lab and production environments.
• Excellent technical documentation and communication skills.
