Job Description

MS Companies is seeking an Industrial Controls Engineer for a high voltage, heavy manufacturing environment in Carrollton, GA, with a salary of USD 110,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults in PLC-based machine control systems
Create and adjust PLC and HMI programs to boost efficiency, reliability, and product quality
Own the full electrical control system design lifecycle, including panel layout, field wiring, and schematics
Contribute to commissioning activities and upgrades of new or existing automation systems
Recommend and implement improvements to maximize production uptime, safety, and quality
Collaborate with operators, maintenance technicians, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a controls, power, or automation focus
At least 3 years of experience as a Controls Engineer, Electrical Engineer, or Automation Engineer in a manufacturing setting
Hands-on troubleshooting experience with PLC-based machine control systems
Siemens PLC programming and troubleshooting proficiency
AutoCAD Electrical experience, including creation of electrical schematics and control drawings
Strong understanding of AC/DC circuits, industrial power distribution, MCCs, and high-voltage systems
Experience working on the plant floor in live production environments
