Job Description

Kubica Corp is seeking an Entry-Level Electrical Controls Engineer in Cedar Falls, IA to design control systems, program PLCs and machine interfaces, integrate conveyor systems, and perform onsite commissioning as part of a systems integration team.

Responsibilities

Design control systems that meet and exceed client expectations
Develop electrical schematics
Program PLC controllers and machine interfaces
Assist in conveyor system integration
Conduct onsite system commissioning
Own the solution and advocate for the best control approach to deliver it to customers
Help customers’ vision become a reality while delivering value and satisfaction

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology degree (no other degrees will be considered)
0-2 years of experience in the electrical/controls engineering field
Experience with various types of conveyors and their programming
Interest in working as a Controls Engineer in an industrial setting
Internship or Co-Op experience utilizing PLC and HMI programming, particularly with Allen Bradley systems
Exposure to electrical schematic design
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, able to speak and write clearly for all stakeholders
Ability to work remotely in an independent and team-oriented environment; must be able to travel to client sites
Critical thinking and analytical abilities
Valid driver's license required
