Responsibilities
- Develop electrical schematics, panel layouts and BOMs for custom automated electroplating and other wet processing equipment.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineering on sensor and motor selection and process control architecture.
- Partner with controls engineering to leverage current automation products and techniques.
Requirements
- B.S.E.E. degree
- Minimum 6 years of experience designing industrial electrical control systems
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with PLCs, distributed I/O, and Ethernet industrial control networking
- Experience with SCCR and Short Circuit Current Analysis
- Familiarity with NFPA 70 (NEC), NFPA 79 (Industrial Machinery), and UL 508A (Industrial Control Panels)
- Ability and willingness to mentor entry-level engineers
