Job Description

KT GRANT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for remote operated heavy equipment. This full-time role is based on site in Export, PA, with a Monday-Friday schedule and less than 10% travel.

In this position, you will create and maintain electrical schematics and 3D models, collaborate across multiple departments, and diagnose low- and high-voltage electrical issues as they arise. Your work will also include staying current on industry standards and implementing applicable technologies to support mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain detailed electrical schematics and 3D models for new and existing equipment using CAD tools
Diagnose and resolve low- and high-voltage electrical issues in a timely manner
Partner with manufacturing, sales, service, and sourcing teams to deliver Engineering support across departments
Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant industry standards, technologies, and best practices for mobile, remote operated heavy equipment, and implement new technologies where applicable

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Electromechanical Engineering
0-5 years of relevant Engineering experience
Proficiency with engineering design software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and DraftSight

Strong judgment and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Experience with electro-hydraulic systems and controls
Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Experience working with ERP systems (Syteline is a plus)
Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation and Availability

Salaried position based on skill set, education, and experience
$70,000 - $100,000 per year
Full-time; Monday-Friday; less than 10% travel
Reports to: Engineering Supervisor
