Electrical Engineer

KT GRANT is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the design, development, and troubleshooting of electrical systems for remote operated heavy equipment. This full-time role is based on site in Export, PA, with a Monday-Friday schedule and less than 10% travel.

In this position, you will create and maintain electrical schematics and 3D models, collaborate across multiple departments, and diagnose low- and high-voltage electrical issues as they arise. Your work will also include staying current on industry standards and implementing applicable technologies to support mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain detailed electrical schematics and 3D models for new and existing equipment using CAD tools
• Diagnose and resolve low- and high-voltage electrical issues in a timely manner
• Partner with manufacturing, sales, service, and sourcing teams to deliver Engineering support across departments
• Maintain up to date knowledge of relevant industry standards, technologies, and best practices for mobile, remote operated heavy equipment, and implement new technologies where applicable

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Electromechanical Engineering
• 0-5 years of relevant Engineering experience
• Proficiency with engineering design software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and DraftSight

• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Experience working with ERP systems (Syteline is a plus)
• Willingness to travel as needed

Compensation and Availability

• Salaried position based on skill set, education, and experience
• $70,000 - $100,000 per year
• Full-time; Monday-Friday; less than 10% travel
• Reports to: Engineering Supervisor
