Staff Engineer (Transportation Engineer 9-12) for the Muskegon Transportation Service Center (MTSC) at the State of Michigan, onsite in Muskegon, MI.

Conduct construction administration tasks for transportation projects.
Oversee maintenance administration related to program delivery and asset upkeep.
Engage in traffic and safety engineering activities to support planning and operations.
Review utility coordination and right of way permits to ensure compliance with project plans.
Prepare design plans and related documentation for transportation initiatives.
Assist the Construction Engineer in developing and delivering all aspects of the transportation program in these areas.
Perform field inspections and reviews as part of project oversight.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
Minimum three years of professional engineering experience in transportation systems and programs, including one year equivalent to Transportation Engineer P11.
Possess a valid driver's license and maintain it throughout employment in the position.
