What you’ll do
Provide first-line technical support for hydraulic and braking system products by answering technical questions from customers, distributors, OEMs, and internal sales teams. You will help customers move from inquiry to solution by supporting product selection, clarifying compatibility, and recommending appropriate legacy product replacements when needed.
- Respond to technical inquiries from customers, distributors, OEMs, and sales teams.
- Support product selection, compatibility questions, and legacy product replacement recommendations.
- Deliver first-pass troubleshooting and technical guidance for hydraulic and braking systems.
- Collect and document application requirements for customer projects.
- Perform basic technical evaluations using established tools and processes.
- Manage support cases, ensure timely customer follow-up, and maintain accurate records of interactions and recommendations.
- Contribute to technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Applications Engineering to gather requirements, support standard application recommendations, document customer interactions, and escalate complex issues when needed.
What you bring
- 1 to 5 years of technical support, applications engineering, or related experience, or 4+ years in a technical or mechanical role.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic or mechanical systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach and strong organizational skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
Preferred qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a technical field.
- Experience with hydraulic braking systems, mobile equipment, or off-highway applications.
- Experience supporting customers or sales teams in a technical environment.
