Job Description

Geotek invites qualified engineers to join our onsite team in Stewartville, MN as a Senior Product Development Engineer. You will lead the design and evolution of engineered composite products for critical infrastructure, guiding work from concept through validation and launch. This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 98,174 to 138,099 per year and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Drive the development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product families
Turn performance requirements into practical engineered design solutions
Carry out structural analysis and calculations using hand methods, FEA, and modeling tools
Oversee prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification processes
Interpret lab and field test data to inform design decisions
Develop and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications
Engage in technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities for product innovation and lead continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
Minimum of five years of experience in product development or structural design
Strong background in structural analysis and performance-based design
Experience guiding product validation and testing cycles
Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
