Applications Engineer
Job Description
Applications Engineering at Geotek blends customer-facing technical work with design, calculations, and proposal deliverables for projects that move from concept to shipment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with customers to understand project goals and convert requirements into buildable designs
- Complete structural and load calculations to support design decisions
- Review and interpret lab test data to determine the final design approach
- Lead and/or contribute to new product development as product lines expand
- Create engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOMs), and engineering reports
- Present designs and proposals to customers; travel up to 10%
- Coordinate with sales and operations to ensure quoted configurations align with shipped products
Requirements
- BS in Engineering
- 3+ years experience as an applications, sales, product, or design engineer at a manufacturer
- Experience engaging in technical discussions with customers’ engineering teams
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or comparable 3D CAD

- USD 74,386 - 102,280 per year
