Sr. Applications Engineer

Geotek invites qualified engineers to join our onsite team in Stewartville, MN as a Senior Product Development Engineer. You will lead the design and evolution of engineered composite products for critical infrastructure, guiding work from concept through validation and launch. This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 98,174 to 138,099 per year and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of new composite structural products and enhancements to existing product families
• Turn performance requirements into practical engineered design solutions
• Carry out structural analysis and calculations using hand methods, FEA, and modeling tools
• Oversee prototype builds, validation testing, and product qualification processes
• Interpret lab and field test data to inform design decisions
• Develop and review engineering drawings, documentation, and technical specifications
• Engage in technical conversations with customers and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for product innovation and lead continuous improvement efforts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Structural Engineering
• Minimum of five years of experience in product development or structural design
• Strong background in structural analysis and performance-based design
• Experience guiding product validation and testing cycles
• Excellent ability to communicate technical concepts clearly
