Job Description

Atlantic Electric LLC seeks an Electrical Engineer who will transition into an Operations Manager role to lead electrical construction efforts, with a clear emphasis on water and wastewater treatment facilities as well as federal projects. This position blends technical leadership with cross-functional coordination among engineers, contractors, and field teams to drive project execution, safety, and compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations of electrical construction projects, focusing on water and wastewater treatment facilities
Oversee execution of federal projects, ensuring compliance with agency requirements such as USACE, NAVFAC, and FAA
Manage electrical scopes on FAA-related infrastructure projects, ensuring adherence to aviation and federal standards
Ensure compliance with federal project requirements, specifications, reporting, and documentation standards
Oversee project managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure successful project delivery
Manage project schedules and budgets
Review and interpret electrical engineering drawings, specifications, and submittals
Coordinate closely with engineers, contractors, and government representatives
Enforce strict adherence to safety standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance
Identify and resolve operational challenges, risks, and project issues proactively
Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and project outcomes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required)
Minimum 7–10+ years of experience in electrical construction
Demonstrated experience with water/wastewater treatment plant projects
Experience working on federal, government, or USACE/NAVFAC/FAA projects
Proven leadership experience managing multiple projects and teams
Strong understanding of NEC, NFPA, and applicable federal construction standards
Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and control system designs
