This senior engineering role concentrates on water and wastewater projects for municipal systems in the Pacific Northwest, combining project management, design, planning, and analysis. The position is onsite in Seattle, WA, with potential project involvement across Bellingham, Wenatchee, or the Seattle/Tacoma area.
Responsibilities
- Manage water and wastewater projects, including sewer master plans, engineering reports, and design work for treatment facilities, collection systems, distribution networks, water modeling, and pump stations.
- Lead engineering design and project management for a broad range of municipal water and wastewater treatment and conveyance systems, covering treatment, water reclamation, pump stations, sewer rehabilitation, water mains, storage tanks, and related civil infrastructure.
- Plan, evaluate, and select wastewater treatment and conveyance facilities, as well as municipal drinking water system options.
- Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and supporting documentation.
- Develop construction drawings, specifications, and accurate cost estimates.
- Provide general civil engineering design services as part of project teams.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a closely related field
- 10+ years of engineering design experience preferred
- Experience with water or wastewater design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred

Job Type
Pay Range
USD 120,000 - 160,000 per yearly. This is the lowest to highest salary we believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, and business or organizational needs.
