Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure web and mobile applications supporting mission-critical customer requirements.
- Build responsive front-end applications using Next.js, React.js, JavaScript, and CSS, and develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and Django.
- Develop and maintain content management solutions using Wagtail CMS and optimize PostgreSQL databases for performance and data integrity.
- Develop and support cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and native iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, Xcode, and Apple iOS SDKs, ensuring seamless integration with backend services.
- Write clean, maintainable code; conduct peer reviews; troubleshoot complex issues; and implement unit, integration, and automated testing.
- Develop, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable applications within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Collaborate with DevSecOps engineers to support CI/CD pipelines, Docker deployments, cloud infrastructure, and application monitoring.
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues while ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with customer security requirements.
- Serve as a hands-on software engineer and facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with Product Owners, developers, and customer stakeholders to establish sprint goals, prioritize work, and align delivery with mission requirements.
- Identify and remove team-level impediments, manage technical dependencies, and address risks impacting sprint execution and delivery commitments.
- Champion Agile best practices, team collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement while actively contributing to software development.
- Use Jira for sprint and backlog management, GitLab for source control and collaborative development, and Rocket.Chat for communication with customers and the team.
