Job Description
Teltrium, Inc. invites an early-career Electrical Engineer to contribute to the development, integration, and operational performance of space communications systems across government and commercial programs. The on-site role in Cleveland emphasizes a systems mindset and collaboration with diverse stakeholders throughout the mission lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit lifecycle requirements for satellite communications concepts of operations, translating needs into detailed system requirements and technical specifications.
- Advance system interoperability and interface management by reviewing Interface Control Documents and technical specifications to enable seamless integration between legacy and next-generation communication systems.
- Plan and support the execution of integration and test activities for government to commercial architectures, ensuring mission success criteria are met.
- Perform technical analysis and decision support by conducting quantitative alternative studies and presenting actionable recommendations to senior leadership and program management.
- Develop verification and validation strategies and success criteria that align with stakeholder requirements and operational concepts of operations.
- Lead lifecycle compliance and stakeholder communications by producing executive-level technical documentation and presentations for NASA review boards in line with agency standards and approvals.

- Minimum education: Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 1 to 5 years in related industry or projects.
- Work authorization: U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.

Qualifications

Role / Work Schedule
This is a full-time, on-site position in Cleveland, OH.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with NASA human space flight systems and/or other mission operational experience.
- Knowledge of satellite communications fundamentals, including RF modulation techniques, error correction coding, and applicable standards.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, with coursework or experience in satellite communications.
- Familiarity with ground station and network equipment.
- Understanding of NASA space communications networks (Space Relay, Near Space Network, Direct to Earth, Deep Space Network) and/or commercial networks.
- Experience with requirements development and the NASA project lifecycle.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to both technical peers and executive-level stakeholders.

Pay
USD 94,000 - 120,000 per year.
